Jane Yolen’s classic picture book, Owl Moon, will set the mood for learning about owls and other birds of prey. Wildlife rehabilitator Tom Ricardi will share his live birds and talk about their Massachusetts habitats. All ages welcome (snow date for this program is Thursday, January 28th, same time and location).

This event will be followed by a full moon Owl Prowl led by naturalist and photographer John Green, on Friday, January 29th from 7-9 pm, location to be determined. Registration is required for the Owl Prowl only, and limited to 15 people. Register for the Owl Prowl at the birds of prey program, or email brightcin@yahoo.com. This event is sponsored by the Belchertown Land Trust and supported in part by a grant from the Belchertown Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
